Will Hurd on Rebooting US Democracy
About This Event
Will Hurd, former congressman and CIA officer, joins the Council for its first in-person event since 2020 for a conversation on how to strengthen America’s institutions and unite its people as a changing world order unfolds. At home and abroad, the United States faces a host of era-defining challenges, but political dysfunction and dishonest leadership have undermined efforts to respond, Hurd believes. To preserve the nation’s security and prosperity, he outlines recommendations for a “reboot” of American democracy.
Copies of Will Hurd’s 2022 book, American Reboot: An Idealist’s Guide to Getting Big Things Done, will be available for sale onsite and online from The Book Cellar.
