About This Event

Since departing the office of United States Secretary of State in 2001, Madeleine Albright has remained an active figure on the international stage. In a variety of roles, she has continued to be a tireless and outspoken defender of freedom, democracy, and equality — values increasingly in retreat as the world bears a mounting resemblance to the era in which her career began over fifty years ago. In her new book Hell and Other Destinations: a 21st Century Memoir, Albright draws on her experiences over the past two decades, reflecting on the later stages of a remarkable career.
