YP In-Depth: One Billion Americans
About This Event
Given decades-long, static population growth, a crumbling national transit system, and a lack of affordable housing, the United States struggles to compete with the huge population clusters of the global marketplace. Join us for a conversation with Vox’s Matthew Yglesias on how the United States can adopt creative policies from around the world to increase population, economic, and social growth. Through an interactive, salon-style conversation, Matthew and Council YPs will explore one possible solution: growing to one billion American citizens.
Note
This event was originally planned as a hybrid format, but for safety reasons has been updated to a virtual event only.
