About This Event

Elmo, Big Bird, and all their Sesame Street friends have been teaching children their ABCs and 123s for more than 50 years. With one in six children now living in an active conflict zone and over 40 million children displaced worldwide, Sesame Workshop is pioneering efforts to reach children in places like Syria, Ukraine, Bangladesh, and East Africa and provide them with access to learning no matter their circumstances. Join us for a conversation with Sesame Workshop president Sherrie Westin and Council President and Chief Content Officer Sarah Gilbert on the power of educational media to make a difference in the lives of children in crisis around the world.
