A panel of senior American and Chinese scholars shared their perspectives on what lies ahead for the world’s most significant bilateral relationship.
About this Event
The Biden administration’s approach to China will be critical for American foreign policy over the next four years. The two countries have been locked in a cycle of increasing competition and confrontation over issues like trade, technology, and security, complicated by domestic politics. What political considerations, leadership dynamics, and legal developments will affect US foreign policy in the days ahead? And, how much of China's recent approach to America is based on structural and institutional dynamics, and how much is based upon the approach of individual leaders? Join the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) for an exchange on the outlook of China-US relations.
