Building Gender Equality Through Inclusive Foreign Policy
In honor of International Women’s Day, experts analyze why building a more gender-equal world through feminist foreign policy is key to pandemic recovery.
About This Event
The pandemic has deepened inequalities and exposed vulnerabilities in political, economic, health, and security systems, disproportionately impacting women. The COVID-19 crisis is yet another reminder that women across the globe are vastly underrepresented in leadership and decision-making, and that their participation is vital for recovering from the pandemic and achieving a more gender-equal world. How is feminist foreign policy a promising tool and what transformative commitments are needed towards gender equality?
