What message will Vladimir Putin take away from the US special operations forces sent to train with Ukraine’s military?

“He’ll take the message that the United States is committed to upholding the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine,” said Council President Ivo Daalder on CNN with Alisyn Camerota and Victor Blackwell.

“This idea of somehow a few special forces or even limited supplies of weapons are provoking Russia to act—it's Russia that has over 100 thousand troops at Ukraine’s border. None of this would be happening but for the fact that Russia is posed for military invasion,” asserted Ambassador Daalder.
