Next Generation Working Group
The Next Generation Working Group is a select group of dedicated, passionate, and globally curious young leaders who are part of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs community.
Members are chosen to represent a diverse group, who will contribute professional expertise and lived experiences to further our shared mission. They influence the Council as we support the next generation in shaping a more open and promising world, by informing them, inspiring them, and inviting them to get involved in global problem-solving, leading to impactful investments in the future.

Associate at BDT & MSD

Sam is an Associate at BDT & MSD, working on the Philanthropy and Social Impact team. In this role, she supports the firm and their clients on philanthropic and impact investing initiatives.

Malcolm Flores
Program Manager, City of Chicago

Malcolm Flores is a development professional serving as Recovery Team Program Manager at the City of Chicago, where he oversees post-pandemic recovery programs and applies data-driven analysis to monitor program performance.

Adam Ladhani
Operations, Stripe

Adam Ladhani enjoys solving problems in heavily regulated environments to improve people’s lives, first as a consultant and now in tech. He has lived, worked, and studied across several countries, and he is passionate about bringing people together through service and mentorship.

Commercial Alliances, United Airlines

Malia Minarik works in Commercial Alliances at United Airlines, where she manages the commercial strategies and relationships of United's Latin American and South Pacific bilateral airline partnerships.

Jacques Philoctete has an affinity for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing and is experienced in helping clients who desire to align wealth with their personal priorities. He's passionate about lifting up under-served communities and serves on the board of the Help Youth non-profit organization, among others.
