Zeenat Rahman

Zeenat Rahman is the Executive Director of the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago. Rahman previously served at the U.S. State Department as a special advisor to Secretaries Hillary Clinton and John Kerry and as acting director at the Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at USAID. With more than two decades of experience in the public and social sectors working to strengthen democracy and civil society, she is an expert on polarization, civil society and democracy building, faith and interfaith issues, Muslim American issues, global youth populations, and pluralism and inclusion.
