Rachel Rizzo
Nonresident Senior Fellow, Europe Center, Atlantic Council
Rachel Rizzo is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council's Europe Center, focusing on European security, NATO, and the transatlantic relationship. She previously served as director of programs at the Truman Center for National Policy and the Truman National Security Project and spent a year as a Robert Bosch fellow in Berlin working on EU surveillance technology policy. Rizzo also spent over five years at the Center for a New American Security, co-authoring several of the center’s reports. Her writing appears in major publications including Politico, Foreign Policy, and Defense One, and she frequently provides analysis for leading media outlets on European security issues.
