About Rachel Bronson
Rachel Bronson is a senior advisor at the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, having previously served as the organization's president and CEO. During her tenure, she oversaw the organization's programming, publishing, communications, and iconic Doomsday Clock. Before joining the Bulletin, Bronson served as the vice president of studies at the Council. She was also a senior fellow and director of Middle East studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, senior fellow for international security affairs at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and fellow at Harvard University’s Belfer Center.
Bronson is the author of Thicker than Oil: America's Uneasy Partnership with Saudi Arabia, and her analysis has appeared in publications such as Foreign Policy, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. Bronson is also a frequent media commentator and has testified before several congressional committees.
