Phil Levy is lead trade economist at the World Bank. Previously, he served as chief economist at Flexport, where he received national recognition for his work on supply chains, consumption, and trade. Earlier in his career, he served as senior fellow on the global economy at the Chicago Council, adjunct professor of strategy at Northwestern's Kellogg School, senior economist for trade on the President's Council of Economic Advisors at the White House, and member of the policy planning staff under Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Dr. Levy has testified before numerous congressional committees, written for Forbes, The Hill, and Foreign Policy, and his research has been published in leading academic journals.
