Peter Baker

Chief White House Correspondent, The New York Times

Peter Baker is the chief white house correspondent for The New York Times. He is also a political analyst for MSNBC and a panelist on PBS's Washington Week. Baker is the author and coauthor of multiple books including, Impeachment: An American History (2018), Obama: The Call of History (2017), and Days of Fire: Bush and Cheney in the White House (2013). He is a recipient of the Gerald R. Ford Journalism Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency in 2007 and Aldo Beckman Memorial Award in 2011. Baker attended Oberlin College.
