Paul Hofhuis

Paul Hofhuis is senior research associate with the Clingendael Institute in The Hague, the Netherlands. Prior to this position, from 1986 to 2015, he was employed by the Netherlands’ national government and diplomatic service, including as counselor for strategic foresight at the Netherlands Permanent Representation to the European Union in Brussels and as counselor for environmental policy at the Royal Netherlands Embassy to the United States in Washington, DC.
