Nora Hesse is the Head of the Economic and Financial Affairs section of the Delegation of the European Union to the US, where she is responsible for monitoring and assessing macroeconomic and financial policy developments, and liaising with US authorities dealing with economic, financial, and monetary issues, as well as with relevant international financial institutions, especially the IMF and G-groups. Prior to to joining the Delegation, Hesse worked in Berlin as the Deputy Head of Delegation and Economics Counsellor at the European Commission’s Representation in Germany. She has also worked for the European Commission’s Directorate General for Economics and Finance (DG ECFIN) in Brussels.
