Kuan-chen Lee

Dr. Kuan-chen (K.C.) Lee is an Associate Research Fellow at the Institute for National Defense and Security Research (INDSR), specializing in public opinion, political psychology, and cross-Strait security. Since 2021, he has led national defense polling projects to track Taiwanese attitudes toward military policy and threat perceptions. His findings have been featured in The Economist and The Washington Post, and his research appears in Issues & Studies, Journal of Taiwan Politics, and Wenti yu Yanjiu. He also writes policy analysis, including for The Diplomat. Dr. Lee received his PhD in Political Science from National Chengchi University.
