Kharis Templeman

Kharis Templeman is a research fellow at the Hoover Institution and manager of the Project on Taiwan in the Indo-Pacific Region, as well as a lecturer at the Center for East Asian Studies at Stanford University. Previously, he was a social science research scholar in the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford, where he managed of the Taiwan Democracy and Security Project. Templeman is a US-Taiwan Next Generation Working Group member, a 2019 program fellow at the National Bureau of Asian Research, a contributor to the Varieties of Democracy project, and the former coordinator of the Conference Group on Taiwan Studies.
