Elina Beketova

Elina Beketova is a non-resident fellow with the Democratic Resilience Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA). She currently authors Behind the Lines, a database and series of articles on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and provides expert commentary for outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC News, and others. She also contributes to the translation team at Ukrainska Pravda, a Ukrainian online newspaper. With over a decade of experience as a journalist and editor in Kharkiv and Kyiv, Beketova began her career as a journalist in Crimea and participated in fellowship programs at Wake Forest University and the University of Mississippi.
