Edil Baisalov
Deputy Prime Minister, Kyrgyz Republic
Edil Baisalov serves as deputy prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. He previously worked in Kyrgyzstan’s nongovernmental sector, including as head of the Coalition for Civil Society and Democracy from 1999 to 2007. He later served as chief of staff to the head of the interim government in 2010, deputy minister for social development, and Kyrgyzstan’s ambassador to the United Kingdom from 2019 to 2021.
