Denise Dresser

Denise Dresser is a Mexican political analyst, columnist, and academic. A professor of political science at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) since 1991, she has authored numerous works on Mexican politics and US-Mexico relations. Dr. Dresser also writes a political column for the Mexican newspaper Reforma and the news weekly Proceso and is a frequent commentator in US and Canadian media. Dr. Dresser has worked as a consultant to the UN Development Program, the Open Society Institute, Barings Research, and the Bank of Montreal, and has served on advisory boards for Human Rights Watch, UNESCO, and the Latin American Research Review.
