Ben Carliner
Senior Economist, Delegation of the European Union to the USA
Ben Carliner is the Senior Economist at the Delegation of the European Union to the USA. Carliner covers the macroeconomics in the US and EU, with a special emphasis on monetary and fiscal policies. He also helps coordinate common European positions at the IMF. Prior to joining the Delegation, Carliner worked at the Economic Strategy Institute, a think-tank in Washington DC, where he was the Director of Research. He has also worked in New York as a financial journalist for Project Finance International and Barron’s Business and Financial Weekly.
