About This Event

Chicago has long been a crossroads of commerce, culture, and innovation, but what does it truly mean to be a global city in today’s world? Join us for a timely and energizing conversation about how Chicago can deepen its impact on the international stage and what it will take from the next generation of leadership to get us there.

Our speakers—private, public, and non-profit leaders who participated in the Council’s Emerging Leaders Program—will discuss how a background in global affairs has informed their thinking, work, and leadership. They’ll reflect on the skills, mindset, and commitments needed to build a Chicago that not only participates in global dialogue but helps lead it.

Come ready to engage with fellow changemakers, strategists, and innovators as we envision a Chicago that is more connected, more influential, and more prepared to lead globally.

A short moderated conversation with our panelists will be followed by an opportunity to network over light snacks.
