Harley Jones

Harley Jones is a mission-driven leader with 21 years of experience in non-profit and emergency management. As the director of domestic programs at Project HOPE, a global health NGO, he leads strategic partnerships and health initiatives with community health centers, free clinics, and public health departments across the country. He specializes in providing care to the most vulnerable populations in the US, including public health programs in Greater Chicago, providing care to migrants and the uninsured populations. Previously, Jones was an executive with the American Red Cross in Chicago and responded to hundreds of disasters in the US and abroad, providing leadership to humanitarian volunteers, non-profit partners, and local governments. Most recently, Jones worked in the Chicago Mayor’s office, where he oversaw the city’s unified command system and the demobilization of the city’s new arrival’s shelter mission. As a part of the One System Initiative in Chicago, Jones helped increase the capacity of the Chicago homeless system by more than 120% and opened the city’s first-ever shelter placement and resource center.
