Ryan Farrell is Executive Vice President at Edelman Delta, the brand and strategy consulting arm of global communications firm Edelman.
For more than 20 years, he’s advised executives at Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, government departments, and international NGOs. His clients include Discover Financial Services, Kellogg's, Mars Wrigley, The Coca-Cola Company, Sempra, Nutrien, University of Michigan, University of Oxford, Chicago Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, and the United Nations.
Prior to joining Edelman, Farrell served as chief of staff to noted economist Professor Mariana Mazzucato at University College London's Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose. There, he managed high-level relationships with government policymakers, the United Nations Development Programme, World Economic Forum, and the Vatican. He also partnered with the director-general’s office at the World Health Organization to launch the WHO Council on the Economics of Health for All.
He began his career working at global advertising agencies Leo Burnett, Y&R and FCB.
He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and a BA in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
