Mika Clark Tupy is managing director of alliances at United Airlines where she oversees the global strategic direction for United’s Alliance Operations team which strives for a seamless customer experience across United and its partners’ networks and is responsible for the development of partnerships with Pacific and Latin American based airlines to support United’s global network. Clark Tupy also serves as President of BEACON, United’s Black Employee Resource Group, which has over 6K members across the US.

Clark Tupy has been with United for nine years and previously served as chief of staff to the president at United Airlines and as assistant general counsel – global competition & alliances, where she ensured the company’s compliance with competition laws world-wide, provided legal guidance related to United’s global partnerships, and spearheaded special projects related to acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to United, Clark Tupy worked in the antitrust group of Crowell & Moring LLP and began her career as a staff attorney in the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission.

Clark Tupy graduated with honors from Tufts University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
