Erin Delawalla leads regional sales and business development in the Upper Midwest for Resource Environmental Solutions, LLC, the nation’s largest operational ecological restoration company. She works to develop new markets and innovative funding strategies for environmental restoration and conservation of sensitive natural resources, particularly through the development of current and new ecosystem credit markets. Delawalla’s career is focused on implementing nature-based solutions to climate change and helping clients and communities manage risk around environmental challenges. She recently passed the Certified Floodplain Manager exam to better engage in the development of flood resiliency strategies for communities across the Midwest facing increased precipitation.

Delawalla is a licensed attorney with extensive experience in permitting issues related to renewable energy and natural resources. She previously worked at Invenergy, managing wildlife and wetland issues for over a gigawatt of utility-scale wind and solar projects in 18 states. Delawalla is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and has an undergraduate degree in finance from Saint Louis University. She lives with her husband and two (soon to be three) children in Lincoln Park.
