Adam Gypalo is a vice president at Resolute Public Affairs, a national public affairs and strategic advisory firm headquartered in Chicago.
Sharply perceptive of the Illinois and Chicago ecosystem, with substantial policy, government relations, and engagement experience, he understands the complex dynamics guiding decision-making at all levels of government.
Recognized for his ability to navigate difficult, often contentious, legislative, policy, and political engagements on behalf of public and private sector organizations, Gypalo has applied these skills across nearly every sector, including civic, transportation, infrastructure, and economic development.
For over a decade, Gypalo has been at the forefront of many of the most impactful and complicated public policy, legislative, land use, and infrastructure engagements in Chicago, leveraging his abilities to educate and persuade internal and external stakeholders while implementing customized strategies in pursuit of organizational goals.
Prior to joining Resolute, Gypalo served in leadership positions in Chicago’s two of Chicago’s most important wards: downtown’s 42nd Ward—comprising the heart of Chicago’s economy—and Lincoln Park’s 43rd Ward —Chicago’s cultural and social hub. In both, he managed key portfolios including economic development, land use, and public policy engagements.
