Tria Raimundo is vice president of programming & strategic content at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where she leads an integrated approach to programming, public engagement, and strategic partnership efforts. She joined the Council in 2013 and brings a wealth of experience in programming and events. She has led the Council’s global development programs—including the Global Food Security Symposium and the Women, Equity and Global Development Forum.
Prior to joining the Council, Raimundo spent a decade at the United Nations working for Secretaries-General Kofi Annan and Ban Ki-moon, and at UNICEF for Executive Directors Ann M. Veneman and Tony Lake. She is a dual Canada-US citizen, holds a BA in political science and sociology from the University of Alberta, and is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
