Šimon Pánek

Šimon Pánek is the Chairman of the Board of the Prague Civil Society Centre and co-founder of People in Need, a Czech-based humanitarian organization supporting civil society and human rights across authoritarian and conflict-affected states. A student activist and leader during the 1989 Velvet Revolution, he went on to serve as a foreign policy adviser in the presidential administration of Václav Havel.
