Sharon K. Weiner (she/hers) is Senior Resident Fellow at the Carnegie Corporation where her work focuses on reducing the risks from nuclear weapons. She is on leave from American University, where she is an associate professor of international relations. Her research, teaching, and policy engagement are at the international of organizational politics and national security. She has worked for both houses of Congress, the Joint Staff, Los Alamos National Laboratory, the White House Office of Management and Budget, and is a visiting researcher with Princeton University’s Program on Science and Global Security.
