Rashid Bashir

Rashid Bashir is dean of the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois. He previously held positions at National Semiconductor, Harvard Medical School, and Purdue University. He has authored and co-authored over 300 journal papers, has 55 patents, and co-founded startups Prenosis, Inc. and VedaBio, Inc. He is a member of National Academy of Medicine and National Academy of Inventors.
