Dr. Margaret Kruk is distinguished professor of health systems and medicine at WashU Medicine, where she studies how health systems can improve health and generate trust. Working with colleagues across Africa, India, South America, and Europe, she develops measures of health system quality and uses implementation science and econometric methods to examine their effects on population confidence and design large-scale health system reforms. She is also director of the QuEST Centers and Network, a multi-country research consortium building a global evidence base for improving health systems. Previously, was professor of health systems at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
