Lesley M. M. Blume is an award-winning journalist, historian, and New York Times bestselling author. Blume just completed her 12th book and second major nonfiction, Fallout: The Hiroshima Cover-up and the Reporter Who Revealed it to the World, to mark the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Her work has appeared in Vanity Fair, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, WSJ Magazine, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Paris Review Daily, Vogue, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Slate, and Departures, among other publications. Earlier in her career, Blume was an off-air reporter and researcher for ABC News Nightline with Ted Koppel in Washington, DC, where she helped cover the historic presidential election in 2000, the 9/11 attacks, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Blume holds a BA from Williams College, and earned an MPhil from Cambridge University, where she was a Herchel Smith Fellow.
