John Coonrod
Executive Vice President, The Hunger Project
John Coonrod is the Executive Vice President of The Hunger Project. In this role, he leads The Hunger Project’s Secretariat Team at the Movement for Community-led Development, serving as the Movement’s co-founder and global coordinator. Coonrod was The Hunger Project’s first volunteer in March of 1977, joined its staff in 1985, and has participated in the development and implementation of all of its programs. He co-chaired InterAction’s Agriculture and Food Security working group for 11 years.
