Jennifer Petersen

Jennifer Petersen served as the director of the Emerging Leaders Program at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. She joined the Council at the start of 2018 and was responsible for the Emerging Leaders program. Prior to joining the Council, Petersen worked in different roles in the US, Rwanda, South Africa, and Gabon, including research, policy advising, and political consulting for campaigns and international NGOs, including International Crisis Group and Search for Common Ground. She has an AB in international studies from Vassar College, an MA in postcolonial studies from the University of London, and an MA in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
