Ian Brzezinski

Ian Brzezinski is a resident senior fellow with the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security and a member of the Atlantic Council’s Strategic Advisors Group. With over twenty years of national security experience, he also leads the Brzezinski Group, which advises government and commercial clients. Previously, Brzezinski served in key Department of Defense and congressional positions, including deputy assistant secretary of defense for Europe and NATO policy, legislative assistant for national security affairs to the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, and as a senior professional staff member on the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Prior, he volunteered in Ukraine, advising different government bodies, and held roles at the Defense Department, National Security Council, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
