Gina McCarthy
Former White House National Climate Advisor and Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency

Gina McCarthy served as the first White House national climate advisor from 2021 to 2022 and administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency from 2013 to 2017. A leading voice on public health and the environment, she currently serves as a senior advisor at Bloomberg Philanthropies, managing co-chair of the America Is All In Coalition, and senior fellow at Tufts University's Climate Policy Lab. She also holds advisory roles at Pegasus Capital Advisors and TPG Rise Climate Fund. Earlier in her career, McCarthy was the president and CEO of the Natural Resources Defense Council, commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, and an advisor to five Massachusetts governors.
