Eric Jones is a nationally recognized advocate for principled policing, evidence-based practices, and strengthening relationships between law enforcement and communities. He has served as Sacramento County’s deputy county executive for the Public Safety and Justice Agency since February 2022, where he oversees the departments of Coroner, Probation, Public Defender, and Conflict Criminal Defender.
