Ellen Shanley is the president of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and dietetics director of the Department of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut's College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. Her research program focuses on nutrition education outreach and food service systems management with much of her work incorporating technology.
