Ellen McCarthy

Ellen McCarthy is founder and CEO of the Trust in Media Cooperative and a national security professional with extensive government and private sector experience. She served as assistant secretary of state for intelligence and research from 2018 to 2020, overseeing intelligence analysis and supporting senior policymakers on foreign policy matters. She also served as president of Noblis NSP and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and has held various leadership positions in the intelligence community, including chief operating officer of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, director of intelligence operations at the US Coast Guard, and lead for human capital and security for the undersecretary of defense for intelligence.
