Darci Vetter
Former Chief Agricultural Negotiator, Office of the United States Trade Representative

Darci Vetter is an expert in international trade and agricultural policy. Previously, she served as chief agricultural negotiator after being nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the Senate in 2014. Before that, she was deputy undersecretary of agriculture and an international trade advisor for the US Senate Finance Committee. Earlier in her career, she held key roles at the US Trade Representative’s Office, focusing on sustainable development and agricultural affairs, and worked at the State Department. In 2017, she became diplomat in residence at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she helped launch the Clayton K. Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance.
