Christopher Kindell
Research Consultant, Chicago Council on Global Affairs
Christopher Kindell is a researcher, writer, and instructor who focuses on historical and contemporary issues related to disease, environmental health, urbanization, and technology. At the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, he has worked closely with the Center on Global Cities to investigate how municipal officials are actively collaborating with local residents when designing and implementing COVID-19-related health policies.
In 2019, Christopher received his Ph.D. in History from the University of Chicago. He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Program in the History of Medicine at the University of Minnesota's Medical School, and beginning in January 2023, he will serve as Lecturer in the Environmental and Urban Studies Program at the University of Chicago.
