Anne Neuberger is a General Partner and Head of Global Affairs at Andreessen Horowitz, bringing expertise from almost 20 years in government at the nexus of national security and technology. As Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technology in the White House from 2021 to 2025, she led development of US policy on emerging technologies and cyber, and worked with governments around the world to tackle threats.  A veteran of the NSA, she led its intelligence operations, founded its first Cybersecurity Directorate, and served as the agency's first Chief Risk Officer following the Snowden period.
