YP In-Depth and Deep Dish Live on Global Mass Shootings
About This Event
In recent years, the United States has accounted for nearly three-quarters of the world’s mass shootings and forty-six percent of all private gun ownership worldwide - more than 10 times its share of the global population. In a special edition of YP In-Depth, GunPolicy.org’s Philip Alpers explores the global differences in gun legislation, prevalence of armed violence, and responses to mass shootings in a live episode of the Deep Dish Podcast. Following the live podcast recording, Philip and Council YPs will explore solutions to reduce gun violence globally through an interactive, salon-style conversation.
