Vamsi Bonthala
Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer, Arbor Lodging Partners
In his current role, Vamsi Bonthala leads all corporate efforts at Arbor Loding Partners, including general corporate strategy, investor relations, strategic relationships, acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management. He's also principal of Arbor Lodging Management, the management affiliate of Arbor Lodging Partners, recently named one of the nation’s top hotel companies of 2015 by Hotel Management magazine. Prior to cofounding Arbor Lodging Partners, Bonthala practiced corporate law in the private equity group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York and the real estate group of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in New York and London. Bonthala earned his BA in economics and political science from the University of Michigan, where he received class honors and university honors. Bonthala earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an associate editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law and studied abroad during his 3L year at University College London (UCL) Faculty of Laws. Bonthala was recently recognized as one of Real Estate Forum magazine’s “50 Under 40” of 2015 and a semifinalist in the 2016 Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year program.
