Silvia Beltrametti

Silvia Beltrametti teaches at the School of the Art Institute and advises on matters related to intellectual property in the creative industry. Her research focuses on art law, as well as international antitrust and intellectual property. She has published works in the Journal of Law and Economics, Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, Columbia Journal of Law and the Arts, and Northwestern Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property. Prior to moving to Chicago, Beltrametti worked for the Cultural Heritage Protection Treaties Section at UNESCO in Paris; the New York-based intellectual policy firm Fross Zelnick, Lehrman & Zissu; and, in the intellectual property department of Richemont, a luxury brands holding company. She holds an LLB from the University of London, and a doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School. Beltrametti is a member of the NY bar association and is fluent in German and Italian.
