Patrick Hanley

Patrick Hanley is a businessman and community leader in Winnetka, Illinois. He manages Mason Rocque, a family office investing in Midwest businesses, and serves as a senior advisor at Piglet in Bed, a direct-to-consumer sustainable homewares company.
Prior, Hanley served in the Chicago office of McKinsey & Company, where he advised public sector executives. Earlier in his career, he consulted for The Asia Group, counseling business leaders across Asia-Pacific. He served The Asia Group’s China team, opened its India practice, and launched its investment advisory, TAG Capital, in Hong Kong.
Hanley is an environmentalist and chairs the Village of Winnetka Environmental & Forestry Commission. He’s a member of the Sustainable Local Food Investment Group (SLoFIG), and serves as a board director for Openlands, a leading Chicagoland environmental & conservation organization.
Hanley is a civic and political leader, making regular appearances on radio, broadcast, and in print. He serves on the leadership team of FairVote Illinois, advocating for voting reform, and volunteers with Team Rubicon, a disaster relief organization. He’s an alumnus of the New Leaders Council, and currently leads the New Trier township Democratic organization.
Hanley holds both MBA and MPP degrees from the University of Chicago and earned his BA in international affairs from George Washington University.
