Christopher Hale
Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Kountable, Inc.
Before founding Kountable, Chris Hale was a partner in the Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP. At Sidley, his legal practice focused on the representation of public and private companies in corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and corporate governance issues. Through his work, he has gained considerable cross-border experience, including working with organizations in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, China, and Brazil.
Hale was active in pro bono efforts and won the Thomas Morsch Award for pro bono services for Chicago area nonprofit institutions. He has served in leadership roles in recruiting, training, and mentorship programs. He graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in 2008 with a JD and from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 with a BBA in accountancy and political science.
