Named for the singular photo of earth captured during the Apollo 17 mission, Blue Marble was founded by the Council to inform, inspire, and involve the next generation in shaping a more open and promising world. Through Blue Marble we will share stories that explain this global moment—the people, places, and priorities that will define the next decade. Remarkable things happen when the complexity, fragility, and resilience of our world comes into view.

You can read deep-dive stories on the Blue Marble website; find quick perspectives from Blue Marble on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube; and subscribe to Blue Marble's daily email newsletter The Overview. Generous support from the Council's members, donors, and funders have made this project possible. Learn more about supporting Blue Marble.Â
