Angel Hsu

Angel Hsu is an assistant professor of public policy and the environment at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She's the founder and director of the Data-Driven EnviroLab, an interdisciplinary research group that applies data-driven approaches to environmental issues. She was a contributing author to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report and a report released by the National Academy of Sciences on greenhouse gas emissions information necessary for decision-making. Dr. Hsu was a TED 2020 Climate Countdown Speaker and was recognized as a Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst. She holds a PhD in environmental policy from Yale University and was formerly an assistant professor of environmental studies at Yale-NUS College in Singapore.
